The Rest of February

Well it took somewhere around four days for the kids' schools to dig out after all the snow.  They weren't able to go to school on Valentine's Day which was a Thursday, but they were finally able to go to school on Friday and do all their Valentine's celebrations.  Then the next week was their mid-winter break.  In the end they wound up getting six additional instruction days at the end of the year tacked on.

Harper's Valentine box

At the bus stop on the day after Valentine's when they could finally get to school again.

Harper making her Valentine's day box.

Daryl had a cookie bouquet sent to the kids for Valentine's Day.

Luke with a cookie flower.

The kids repurposed the cookie box as a gift box for Daryl.

Look at the awesome stuff they threw in there: McDonald's toys, a giant white pipe cleaner, and an iPad with headphones.

Luke also fit in the box.

We also were in the process of getting new living room windows on Valentines Day.

The girls with their Valentines Day hauls from school.
