Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial Day weekend started a little wet and miserable, but then it ended strong with sunshine and two water balloon fights.  Saturday we took the kids up to the Northwest Rail Museum to ride a vintage train.  The first car we rode in was from the 50's, and the second one we rode in was a beautiful car from the turn of the century that was actually less much comfortable than the one from the 50's.  They took us by Snoqualmie Falls, and we had a good time.  I think the kids favorite part was getting ice cream in town when we were done.
On actual Memorial Day we went to visit Brad and DeAnna who had prepared a bunch of water balloons for the kids.  They had a blast pelting the kids with the balloons, and the kids wanted to fill up more balloons.  We said no, but then we went to Daryl's Aunt Debbie's house for a barbecue and they had a water balloon fight there much to their delight.  We loved getting to visit all the family we did.
