Christmas Day

Avery was up at five and got her sisters up as well.  They opened their stockings which is fine, but then Avery tried to start passing out presents for opening and they actually opened a few of them before I got down their to voice my displeasure.  They had to wait until after nine to open presents, and we made them clean their rooms, make their beds, and do homework too.  Daryl and I do not like getting up at five for any reason, and the kids know this.  Hopefully this will never happen again.  As a result of the much too early morning several members of the family were pretty crabby, and everyone went to bed earlier than later.  We spent the rest of Christmas day at home playing with presents, and since it actually snowed on Christmas Daryl took the kids out sledding too.

Luke really loved his bubble machine he got.  He didn't open any other presents after he opened this one up.
