We are halfway through October and I've been to two different pumpkin patches with various children. The kids randomly had the first Monday off, so we went up to Craven Farm. It was muddy and raining, but that we just put on our raincoats and boots. Everyone got messy and ate giant frosted sugar cookies while doing various farm activities. Then yesterday I went with Ashley, Ayva, and Luke to Bob's Corn and Pumpkin Farm. Luke and Ayva had a great time, and even played together some of the time. Ayva loved going down the giant tube slides that Luke was too scared to go down. The weather was way better than our first pumpkin patch visit too.

I just liked this spider web by our mailbox. |

Luke and his brand new rain boots. I was looking for rain boots myself and he was helping me pull them off. I thought he was being sweet helping me. Really he was pulling them off, so we could get him rain boots instead. |

Emery was sick last week and cuddled herself into bed early. |

Ayva wasn't quite tall enough to be in the pumpkin. |

Avery drew this on the chalkboard. It's a witch saying, "Welcome to the mantion(sic). It is spooky." |
