Memorial Day Weekend we went over to Sequim Sunday night, so we could visit Daryl's grandma and Aunt Donna and Uncle Laif. The kids loved the ferry ride to and from. It was Luke's very first ferry ride. He didn't appear aware of this important first though. Monday morning we took the kids to the Dungeness Spit with Donna in hopes of running all the energy out of the kids, but I think that only worked on the adults. After lunch Daryl video taped his grandma telling stories about her life. We were really excited to have these stories recorded. It was a great visit, and we are so grateful to Donna and Laif for their hospitality.
Here we are at the Dungeness Spit. Avery, Harper, and Emery are in the background, and Daryl and Donna are standing. I spent most of my time shadowing this little wanderer. |

This was the first time any of the kids had Cheetos and they were all fans. |
The ride made me miss our view at West Seattle. |
Here begins our attempts to get a picture of the kids with their great grandmother. |
This is the picture we got with everyone in it. |
The next best picture. |
We'll just have to settle for this one. |
