Daryl and I got ridiculously excited to see that we had half a kitchen installed last Friday. The counter tops are going to be installed on this Friday. It will probably be hard for us to stay away that day since we picked out our counter tops ages ago, and we can't really remember what they looked like. Our hardwood floors aren't in yet because they are back ordered and won't be in for two weeks. Fortunately that doesn't really delay any of the other projects in the house. We just don't have the floors in yet.

| We actually have two lazy susan cabinets. I am just so excited to have real corner units. In our current home they just put regular cabinets in the corner, so it's really hard to reach your hand back there to get things out. I call them our stupid cupboards. |

What? You didn't install a "mixer cabinet"? My KitchenAid has it's own cabinet with a pull-up shelf. I had the electrician install an outlet inside the cabinet, so it is always plugged in.
