March felt like it flew by. The highlights from the month are Avery and I running the Beat the Bunny 5k in Redmond even though it snowed that morning. I tried to tell Avery it would be okay if we didn't do it since it had snowed and it was cold, but she said,"don't worry Mom I know it will be hard, but we can do it." So we ran it.
The other highlight was Good Friday. Daryl gets this day off, and Luke and Emery did too. We went and visited Snoqualmie Falls. Luke ran the whole way down the trail to the falls, and then wanted to be carried part of the way back up and got mad at Daryl for resting. If he saw Daryl sitting he would yell, "No Daddy! Let's go!" Thank goodness the trail is only a mile round trip.
Oh and the 29th was our 11th anniversary. My sister babysat for us and we went to the Bellevue Botanical gardens and ate at John Howie Steakhouse. It was a great evening.
We made birthday cake for my brother Adam's birthday. |
Luke using his trike on a rare good day of weather when Emery's friend from preschool and her mom came over for a play date. |
Daryl and I went to the driving range for a date. |

This is what it looked the morning of the Beat the Bunny 5k. |
I can't remember what Harper decided she needed to eat on a single chopstick. |
Emery and Luke wanted their picture taken. |
Luke played dress up with his sisters and this how it turned out. |
