A Little Sister

Christie's Wedding

This first weekend in August my BFF got married, and we were very happy to be there to witness the happy event. Christie looked just beautiful, and Avery got to wear make-up! Her aunts DeAnna and Nellie made sure she was very beautiful and styled her hair as much as she would allow. The dress Grandma Karen (Daryl's dad's new wife) gave Avery was perfect for the wedding. Thanks so much Grandma Karen!

Oh Maddux How We Love You

I'm trying to catch up on my blogging that I have been procrastinating among many other things. Last month now, our nephew Maddux came and visited for a week. His sweet thank you card reminded me about his visit. We did lots of fun things like doing the harbor tour in Seattle, going to a petting zoo, visiting the arcade at the Supermall, playing Mario Kart, and a Safeco Field tour. We also had a great time playing miniature golf. We were glad that Maddux could come visit us. Avery certainly thought her cousin Maddux was very funny.
